One family workspace, on your iPhone or computer.
Sign in to your existing household or sign up and create your family's household in Kindlane's responsive web app. Choose Sign in with Google; your first sign-in creates your account. Then name a new household or join with an invite code.
iPhone
Open Kindlane in Safari. You can optionally add the web app to your Home Screen for easier access.
This is a browser web app, not an App Store download.
Computer
Open the same Kindlane family workspace in your desktop browser. Bookmark the app for quick access.
No desktop installer is required.
Android
Install the approved Kindlane Android APK from the existing release download page.
Wall display
Install the separate approved Wall APK. Choose this version for a shared household display.
Start without an Android device
Create your household, invite family members, set up Daily lists and rewards, add meals and grocery items, and add calendar events using your iPhone or computer. The household owner can assign children their Daily lists and permissions under Home → Settings → Household members on iPhone, or Household members in the desktop sidebar.
For an existing calendar, export an .ics file from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook and import it under Calendar. Imports contain a snapshot of the coming year, including recurring events; import an updated file to refresh them. This does not subscribe to the calendar or write back to your calendar provider.
Browser-added calendar events sync between household web browsers. Existing calendar events shared by Android appear alongside them; Android calendar integration continues to use its existing path.
Make it yours
On iPhone, open Home → Settings. On desktop, choose Preferences. Pick a style and accent color, choose Light or Dark, enlarge text, arrange Home cards, choose phone navigation and adjust calendar/weather preferences. Light is the default. Your preferences are saved for you in this browser.
Using Kindlane on iPhone
- Open Kindlane in Safari and complete sign-in in the app.
- To keep it handy, use Safari's Share menu and choose Add to Home Screen (wording may vary by iOS version).
- If asked to sign in again after opening it from your Home Screen, sign in there too. Safari and Home Screen app sessions may be separate.
On a computer, open the same web app in your preferred browser. Your permitted household data remains managed by the app, not by this marketing website.
